From the Editor….

Thank you for visiting the blog site which was the “inception” of Magical Multiple Moments.   Hopefully in reading the book or visiting our site you will know more about the enchantment of multiples or pass on the magic to someone you know who has twins, triplets, or more.

Since the birth of our trio I’ve tried to standardize what is truely an “extra”-ordinary life.  After six years of research and hearing 250 other stories from parents of multiples I’ve created what I hope you will discover is a cookbook full of successful recipes from exceptional parents.

I owe the creative spark of the website to a gal at the coffee shop who asked me to curb my stroller outside because it was taking up too much of her personal space.  Blogging away my own scenerios brought out  the “meat and potatoes” of the book–stories from other parents of multiples all over the country who generously shared them.  They taught me to curb my anger and count my blessings.

The icing on the cake are the expert interviews from Dorothy Bernet MS, RD, Laura Erlick, Deena Goodman PT, WCS, BCIA-PMDB, Wendy Haldeman MN, RN, IBCLC, Gail Pekalis PT, Jill Spivack LCSW, and Rita Suri MD, and the statistics of the surveys by Jaishen You and Elise Small.

It goes without saying that I couldn’t do my job without the help from my friends and family.  Thank you!  The final completion of the book is thanks to my unbelievably creative Canadian editors Louise Spencer and Sandra Leer, my writing genius Rachel Fretz, and my amazing publisher Nancy Cleary -who specializes in publishing books by moms, for moms.
